A rabbinate grounded in joy,
meaning making, and authenticity.
Roots
I was born and raised in Morristown, New Jersey. Growing up, my Jewish life was filled with joy. Friday night Shabbat with my family, formative summers at URJ Camp Harlam, singing in HaZamir, and exploring Judaism through NFTY all shaped my early connection to Jewish life. The warmth and sense of belonging I felt in these spaces inspired me to take on leadership roles in my communities and deepen my engagement in the Reform Jewish world.
As a student at Muhlenberg College, my involvement in Hillel brought meaning and connection into my life. Through my work on the Hillel Leadership Team as a service coordinator and my time as a Muhlenberg Interfaith Fellow, I deepened my commitment to pluralistic Jewish life and developed a strong foundation in interfaith leadership.
My Path to the Rabbinate
Growth
Prior to entering rabbinical school, I served as a full-time Jewish educator at Westchester Reform Temple in Scarsdale, New York. As an educator, I developed creative curricula and guided students from third through tenth grade as they explored Judaism and discovered their place in the Jewish community. The clergy team at WRT nurtured my growth and supported my pursuit of the rabbinate.
I had the privilege of serving as the Rabbinic Intern at Brooklyn Heights Synagogue in Brooklyn, New York. At BHS while I was primarily working in youth programming, my role grew to encompass adult Ed, rotating with the clergy to facilitate Shabbat Torah Study. Through guiding conversation rooted in Torah, I saw firsthand how transformative Jewish learning can be not only for children, but for adults as well.
Becoming
As the Rabbinic Intern at Temple Israel of New Rochelle, I have found a deep passion for multigenerational Jewish life. There are sacred and powerful connections that form when people of all ages learn, pray, and celebrate together. My Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) experience has deepened this even further, teaching me to be present with people in their most vulnerable moments and to listen with my full heart.
One of the gifts of this path is that I am always becoming. I am shaped by every community I serve, every class I teach, and every relationship I form. I am a lifelong learner, continually discovering new facets of myself as a person and as a rabbi. As I look toward the next stage of my rabbinic journey, I am filled with excitement to grow alongside a new community and to discover who we might become together.
Through all of these experiences, I have shaped a rabbinate dedicated to leading with heart, teaching with intention, and building communities rooted in joy, meaning, and warmth.

The Heart of My Rabbinate
-

Joy ~ שמחה
Joy belongs in Jewish life. Music, celebration, and shared experiences help create a community where people feel lifted and connected. Simcha, the spark of joy, lights up our hearts when we enter Jewish spaces.
-

Learning ~ לימוד
Learning is the gateway to meaning. Jewish education, for learners of all ages, should be engaging and accessible. When we explore texts, traditions, and ideas together, curiosity grows and we deepen our connection to Judaism.
-

Community ~ קהילה
Community is the core of Jewish life. When we gather, support one another, and celebrate together, we create spaces where everyone feels seen, welcomed, and part of something larger than themselves. As a kehillah, we carry each other through life’s joys and challenges.
Life Beyond the Bimah
Beyond the bimah, I live a rich and authentic life. I love the thrill of immersing myself in live theater or the peace that comes spending afternoons exploring museums or parks I am a dedicated bullet journaler, taking time each day to reflect and plan, and I practice Hebrew on Duolingo every night, keeping a streak of over 1,700 days. I have no shame in admitting that I am a massive nerd, finding immense joy at the Renaissance Faire, and I create Jewish content on TikTok and Instagram Reels, cherishing the connections I make on those platforms. Cultivating joy in my own life allows me to bring that energy into my work as a rabbi, helping me be a conduit for connection, celebration, and inspiration within the Jewish community.
